About Dr. Walter Sorokolit and his Staff
Walter T. Sorokolit, M.D., BSc (MED), FRCS(C) is a board certified plastic surgeon who completed his undergraduate and graduate education at the University of Toronto, Ontario.
After graduating from medical school he taught anatomy and did surgical research in wound healing.
He completed a post graduate course in both general and plastic surgery and is certified in both.
Dr. Sorokolit has practiced and taught plastic surgery to students and residents for 40 years, and has a wide experience in both cosmetic and reconstructive surgery.
He has been an assistant Professor and lecturer at both McMaster University and The University of Texas Southwestern Branch at Dallas.
He was the director of Plastic Surgery teaching Baylor residents at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth and has been chief of Plastic Surgery at Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth.
Dr. Sorokolit is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgery, the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the Texas Society of Plastic Surgery and the Fort Worth Society of Plastic Surgery.
Over the past 40 years, Dr. Sorokolit's practice has grown because of his expertise, technical skills and his personal approach to each individual problem.
No surgery is performed until both Dr. Sorokolit and the patient fully understand the problem to be solved and both are comfortable with it.

Jinx Neff, the office manager, has been with Dr. Sorokolit for over 20 years and will go over, in detail again, each question that might come up.
April Muse will discuss appointment and follow-up arrangements, plus your billing arrangements so that you feel completely comfortable with this aspect of your surgery.
