INSURANCE
Some procedures are covered by your insurance although most cosmetic procedures are not. There are a number of "gray areas" in coverage for plastic surgery that sometimes require special consideration by your insurance carrier. These usually involve surgical operations, which may be reconstructive or cosmetic, depending on each patient's individual situation. For example, eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty) normally performed to achieve a cosmetic improvement may be covered if the upper eyelids droop enough to obscure a patient's vision.
Our staff will assist you with necessary paperwork or requirements of your insurance carrier.
